the history behind the site |
| Henrietta Fahrenheit began in May 2002 as a little,
spring chicken of a brick and mortar store. After shaking our
feathers in the four-walled world, we started to have, well, a
storeful of creative ideas ourselves! So we moved everything out
of our beloved, four-walled space and started concentrating on a
website that would offer much, much more than cool shopping to a
much larger community. Pretty soon, you'll be able to read reviews
of our favorite and newly discovered designers, products, stores,
other websites, and maybe a few random other things (like that
black-bottomed coconut bar recipe we just happened upon). |

Henrietta Fahrenheit is a place that encourages you
to flaunt your inventiveness and independence whether you're the
one parading it or the one creating it. We bring all the creative
species together, from fashion designers to crafters to artists and
musicians to those who support their efforts. What we all have in
common is a DIY ethic and community sensibility. So join in, take
